George Caners, B. Sc., C.A., M.B.A., CFP
George began his career in Montreal, where he was a Financial Analyst with Canadian Pacific Railway. Following that, he was Manager of Audit for the International Division of the Bank of Montreal. In 1978, he moved to Brockville to join Black and Decker Canada as Manager of Audit and Systems. Since 1984, George has owned and operated his public accounting firm.

Dan Cliffen, B.Comm., C.A.
Dan has worked in various capacities as a Chartered Accountant: Auditor at Deloitte Haskin & Sells, Internal Auditor at Oshawa Group, Project Manager (Accounting Systems) with the Federal Government, and Audit Manager, BDO Dunwoody Ward Mallette. Dan now works as Controller at Sherwood Park Manor, and joins us part time in March and April to do tax preparation.

Melanie Bale, B.A.
Melanie obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Nipissing University. She is
currently pursuing her Certified General Accountant designation and is in her
fourth year. Melanie is bilingual and previously worked as a Credit Risk Analyst
for a major European automotive manufacturer in Whitby, Ontario.

Angela Smail
Angela obtained her diploma in business administration - finance from St Lawrence College and is currently pursuing a certificate in forensic accounting and fraud investigation. Angela's
experience includes work as a senior accountant in manufacturing as well as service industries. Her most recent position was with a large public accounting firm.
